Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Georgetown is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative Urgent Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, experienced APP who values work-life balance, predictable scheduling, strong team support, and meaningful patient relationships.

Clinic Hours
Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The Opportunity
As a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care, you will evaluate and treat adult patients with a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries. You'll have the opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine while working closely with physicians and an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
Evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses and injuries
Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing
Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Prescribing medications and recommending appropriate therapies
Performing procedures within your scope of practice and clinical privileges
Educating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment, and prevention
Coordinating referrals and consultation when appropriate
Maintaining accurate medical records
Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team
Preferred experience: At least one year of relevant APP experience.

Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
