Intergenerational Child Care Teacher- Ebenezer's award wining program is hiring!

Under the supervision of the Child Care Director, the Substitute Teacher provides on-call support and supervision for children in assigned classrooms, including infants, toddlers, preschool, or school-age groups. The Substitute Teacher follows existing classroom curriculum, ensures the safety and well-being of children, and supports staff by maintaining a positive and nurturing environment. This role may cover short- or long-term absences and requires flexibility and adaptability to different age groups and routines.

This Ebenezer education role will act as a Substitute at our Riley Crossing Childcare Center in Chanhassen, MN and Towerlight Childcare Center in St. Louis Park, MN.

Riley Crossing Child Care

Infant, Toddler, Preschool and Pre-K Daycare in St. Louis Park

This Early Education Teacher schedule includes; 

• 48 hours every two weeks , Day shifts M-F.
• Eligible for Full Benefits Package!

Responsibilities

• Follow classroom routines and lesson plans provided by the Classroom Teacher or Director.
• Provide direct care and supervision to children in a safe, responsive, and respectful manner.
• Support implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Engage with children to promote positive social and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with staff and, when appropriate, families.

Required Qualifications

• Must meet Substitute Teacher qualifications under Minnesota Rule 9503.0032
• less than 1 year experience in child care or early education

Preferred Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. Early Childhood Education or related field
• B.S./B.A. Early Childhood Education or related field
• One or more years in licensed child care setting

Qualifications

Compensation: $20.83- $29.40 Hourly
