Responsibilities

The Anesthesiologist Assistant will perform the following duties under the Chairman and the Chief Anesthetist for the Department of Anesthesia:

Administer anesthesia to any patient undergoing a surgical procedure, obstetric procedure or procedure requiring anesthesia (CT, MRI, Bronchoscopy, TEE or IR) as designated by the supervising physician.
Perform assignments based on the age and developmental level of patients being served.
Assist in the evaluation and training of student anesthesiologist assistants.

Required: Master's degree

Experience:

Required: Less than one year Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant experience

Required Licensure/Certifications:

Required: Active license as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) in the state of Florida
