**Job Description:** 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Support Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. The Surgical Support Technician will provide essential assistance in the operating room, ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and patient care protocols.

**Key Responsibilities:** 

- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment before, during, and after surgical procedures 

- Assist surgeons and surgical staff by passing instruments and supplies as needed 

- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functioning 

- Monitor and restock surgical supplies to maintain readiness 

- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures 

- Support patient positioning and transport as required 

- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care 

**Qualifications:** 

- Previous experience as a Surgical Support Technician or similar role preferred 

- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols 

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills 

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities 

- Flexibility to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis
