Institution: UT Health San Antonio
Responsible for managing financial analysis and the accounting/budget functions; to include developing internal billing rate schedules, developing/monitoring departmental budgets, and preparing financial reports.- Develops and monitors the consolidated annual budget plan and budget process for the division; to include monitoring the monthly fund and unallocated activities of the departments for budget and cash flow management capacities, accounts receivable, monthly reconciliations, and variance reporting.
- Prepares and/or directs preparation of financial statements, activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports requested by management and as required by regulatory agencies.
- Coordinates, negotiates and resolves financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Conducts and/or leads audits.
- Supervises employees performing financial and/or accounting duties and may supervise employees in other functional areas.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
- Experience with Hyperion, Smart View and Essbase, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations.
- Ability to collaborate across and within different levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Ability to coordinate the diverse components of the department to achieve required balance of time, cost and quality.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
