Privacy Policy

Element Jobs provides job discovery through its website and a public, read-only MCP integration for ChatGPT. This policy describes information handled by those services.
Information handled
When you use the plugin, ChatGPT sends the tool arguments needed for your request, which can include job keywords, location, company, Group Tag, posting window, pay preference, job identifiers, and pagination values. Element Jobs processes those values to return public job listings. The integration does not require an Element Jobs account and does not request resumes, applications, or your complete ChatGPT conversation. OpenAI separately processes your ChatGPT activity under its own policies.
The MCP analytics feature stores request timestamps, tool operation names, and HTTP response status. It does not store search text or user identities in those analytics events. Browser visits from tagged MCP links can be attributed to MCP as a traffic source.
Website analytics use pseudonymous visitor and session cookies to measure visits, job views, traffic sources, and Apply clicks. These browser analytics events do not store IP addresses or Google authentication information. Infrastructure access logs are separate and can contain IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, and response information. Cloudflare and other providers may process request metadata to deliver and protect the service.
If you sign in with Google, Element Jobs receives your Google account identifier, email address, and profile name for authentication and account management. If you submit the Support form, your name, reply email address, subject, and message are delivered through Google Workspace email.
Essential sign-in and security cookies are also used when needed. The configured sign-in session lifetime is 14 days.
Purposes and recipients
Information is used to return search results, maintain accounts, respond to support requests, understand service usage, and operate and protect the service. Relevant recipients include Element Jobs' authorized operator and service providers involved in hosting, delivery, security, authentication, and email, including Cloudflare and Google. Following an employer link takes you to a separate service whose privacy practices apply to your activity there.
Retention
Browser visitor cookies have a maximum configured lifetime of one year; the analytics session cookie lasts 30 minutes. These cookie lifetimes are not database retention periods.
Element Jobs currently has no automatic expiration schedule for its browser analytics records or MCP analytics events; these records remain until manually deleted. Account records remain until the account is deleted. Support correspondence, infrastructure logs, and backups do not have a single fixed deletion deadline across the service and its providers; records may remain until manually removed or rotated under the relevant system or provider settings. Deleting an account does not automatically erase separate pseudonymous analytics, support emails, logs, or backup copies. Contact Support with a retention or deletion question.
Choices and requests
You can browse public jobs and use the MCP tools without signing into Element Jobs. Browser controls can restrict or clear cookies. Signed-in users can use the Account page's account-deletion process. You can contact Element Jobs through https://element-jobs.com/support for privacy or access questions. Do not include sensitive medical information, government identifiers, or passwords in search or support messages.
Element Jobs operates this service and handles privacy inquiries through its Support form. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Submit a request through Support and identify the information or account concerned; identity verification may be needed. Service providers may process information outside your state or country.
Policy updates
Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
